OverviewLawyer shows, for the most part, show glitzy offices, polished suits, prominent clients, and, for the most part, clients with big pocketbooks. Nothing could be further from the truth after reading this book. If it isn't an insane client, it is a legal situation best suited for someone who has a strong stomach. There is no glamour here or saving the world; but what you do have is a collection of situations, stories, events written in a clever and humorous manner that may just make you think twice before going to law school. Enjoy this entertaining descent into single practice law firms who never really get mentioned on television, and probably for good reason. Desperately trying to save his practice, morals, and sanity, David Pauly represents everyday people and takes you on an adventure into the real world of legal practice. There are no beautiful boardrooms overlooking Manhattan here, but a cultural wasteland isolated in sand, idiocy, and rampant gunfire.
