With adorable characters like cats, a dinosaur, and a friendly monster, it captivates both children and adults. A playful approach to early math skills!"" ""SUCH a Cute Shapes Book! Darling! This is not your typical ""identify the shapes"" book. It has an amusing story that even my 10-year-old laughed at. There are many examples of shapes, and it's very entertaining. This book also covers mixing colors and how to see shapes in the world around you. Another winner by author Anna Maledon!"" ""Lovely book about shapes! Author Information

When Anna was a little girl, she wanted to become Anne Shirley. Even though she had the right initials, and an old tree in front of her window, becoming Anne Shirley wasn't all that easy, so... as an adult, instead of moving to Prince Edward Island she moved to Scotland, the birthplace of Harry Potter, where she met her Caribbean dancer-turned-chef husband, changed her Polish initials from A.S. to A.M., had 2 boys (just like Lucy Maud Montgomery, her favourite childhood author) and started writing books. Now she thinks that writing was the thing she was meant to do from the start, being born with six fingers on one hand. It wasn't a handicap, it was a gift! She used to live in Edinburgh, not far from where J. K. Rowling wrote the famous book, but she never met her on the bus or anywhere else, for that matter. They share 3 things: they write books for children, they live in Scotland, and they can't drive! Anna Maledon is the author of several book series, including JOLLY GOOD PICTURE BOOKS, JOLLY GOOD MATHS, JOLLY GOOD BORING THINGS. When Anna was a little girl, she wanted to become Anne Shirley.
