He is currently the International Tobacco Surveillance program manager at the American Cancer Society. Michael Eriksen, PhD (Atlanta, Georgia), is professor and founding director of the Institute of Public Health at Georgia State University. Hana Ross, PhD (Chicago, IL), received her BA and MA degrees from the Prague School of Economics, and PhD in Health Economics from the University of Illinois. She has served as deputy director of the International Tobacco Evidence Network with extensive work in Asia and is currently strategic director for International Tobacco Surveillance at the American Cancer Society. Judith Mackay, MD (Hong Kong), is a witty and loquacious Englishwoman, who works as a tobacco-control advocate and senior policy adviser to the World Health Organization (WHO). She was named by Time Magazine in 2007 as one of the most influential people in the world in recognition of her role as a leading campaigner for stricter tobacco control measures and vigilant critic of tobacco industry practices.
