Michael MacBride is originally from Michigan, but now lives with his wife and children in Minnesota. Their adventures often help fuel the Thompson Twins mysteries--they love going to the Science Museum, Glensheen Mansion, comic book shops, the Zoo, and trying new sports. In between Michigan and Minnesota, he has also lived in Ohio, Missouri, and Illinois, and he loves to travel. Michael writes and reads books and is driven by his natural curiosity. Heidi Wall Burns is originally from Montana but now lives in Minnesota with her husband where they have raised three boys. The Burns family enjoys traveling together to new places, playing sports, and spending quiet nights reading. Their natural curiosity makes it easy for Heidi to find things to research and write about. She has taught writing classes for over twenty years and loves sharing her love of words with her students and her family.
