He is the author of Art as Performance (Blackwell, 2004) and Aesthetics and Literature (Continuum, 2007), and has published on issues in the philosophies of film, photography, literature, and the visual arts, and on topics in metaphysics, philosophy of mind, philosophy of language, and philosophy of science.
