Overview

The aim of this dissertation entitled: ZE KANE Samuel's therapeutic village: bone fracture care practices in Nièté is to shed light on the treatment of fractures in a traditional context. This research seeks to understand the process of fracture treatment by a traditional therapist on the one hand, and the patients' motivations for choosing traditional medicine on the other. The study area is based on a village in the arrondissement of Nièté, and the target population of the study is the local population, mainly patients who have received trauma treatment in the therapeutic village of ZE KANE. When people feel ill, they look for ways to regain their health.
