College in Crawfordsville, Indiana. He has published books on Al Jolson, Spencer Tracy, Eddie Cantor, and the history of commedia dell'arte in the twentieth century, In 1996, he staged the Indiana premiere of Angels inAmerica Part One: Millennium Approaches.
