Author Information

Philip Rose is an artist. Born in 1926, he served in the Royal Navy during WWII, has been a professional actor, and ran with his actress wife their own puppet theatre for ten years. He has also been a deep sea yachtsman who has sailed over 30,000 miles of the seas and the oceans of the world. He ran, with his wife and daughter, a studio in Westward Ho!, North Devon, for over forty years, selling only their own work, paintings, drawings, leaflets and small models of mythical and legendary figures they designed and carved themselves. He is now retired and lives with his extended family in a large old 14th century house in Bideford.
