Overview

After an alien invasion is repelled, the United Earth Government takes the next logical step-create a Strike Force to pursue the retreating aliens, taking the fight to their homeworld. It is, however, a plan with unintended (or unreported) consequences. Families are assured they will be taken care of, and are shipped to base housing. They quickly begin to question just what ""being taken care of"" will actually entail. Promised a safe return to their families, the Strike Force trains for battle while traveling aboard unproven Near-Light-Speed (NLS) ships. The truth kept from everyone is a little detail called time dilation. ""To duty, no matter the cost.""
