The Teegarden Genesis

Overview

Following the revelations on Wolf 1069b, the crew of Discovery embark on their most ambitious mission yet, a journey to the Teegarden system which was home to two Earth-sized worlds that may hold the key to understanding life's true diversity. Armed with expanded definitions of life after their encounter with silicon-based organisms, the team must now apply that hard-won knowledge on the surfaces of Teegarden b and Teegarden c. What begins as a straightforward programme of sample collection and environmental analysis quickly becomes something far more profound challenging the crew to rethink everything they believe about evolution, habitability, and humanity's place in a universe richer and stranger than imagined. The Teegarden Genesis blends rigorous science, emotional depth, and the quiet heroism of those who push into the unknown. A continuation of a journey that began light-years away, and is only just beginning.
