OverviewIf Spirituality is who we are within, then Religion is how we express and grow into it. Here we look together at different stories of where our different paths started, where they all lead, and the ways we follow them. We hear from the sages of ancient Egypt, India, China, and beyond, and step into stories from their lives and others', both old and recent. René Descartes once ended a letter he had written by apologising for having written such a long one. He said he had not had the time to write a shorter one. On my writing monitor is an old fortune cookie slip which says, ""Everything should be made as simple as possible... but not simpler."" For all the time spent reading to write this book, more has gone into keeping it as short, and as simple, as possible. My advance readers seem to agree that I have been able to do this, with enough layers of meaning to invite repeat readings. As one said, ""A light read, but fully loaded!"" I hope you'll think so, too!
