Overview

Born on Angor, a planet shielded from the rest of the universe, Arienne grew up knowing exactly what's expected of her. Yet somehow she still manages to feel as though she's a disappointment. As her parents await the day she will be ready to take her seat on Angor's Council, Arienne is plagued by dreams of a stranger's torture. As she starts to physically experience what she's seeing, the dreams progress from irritating to potentially life threatening. Despite the toll the dreams are taking on her, her parents and refuse to consider letting Arienne leave Angor for an attempted rescue. After a confrontation with a friend forces her hand, Arienne's hastily concocted plan is put into action as she races to save David's life. And possibly her own.
