About the Author Christina Michelle Schaible, aka Phoenix Bartaldo Schaible, is a mother of two boys, and the author & creator of The Tales of Timber the Gentle Wolf children's book series. She earned her pen-name ""Phoenix Bartaldo Schaible"" from her time competing on the national stage as a physique bodybuilder. Now, she works full-time in the medical field and is affiliated with a gym in Redding, CA where she lives with her husband and famous dog, Timber, the Gentle Wolf. Prior to becoming an author, Christina served Northern California as a firefighter and EMT, as well as a personal trainer health coach. Writing stories was a gift she received after the tragic passing away of her youngest son who lost his life to brain cancer. Through trial and faith, her stories live on to reach the hearts of many young children in hospitals and healing centers all over the world, in memory and dedication to him. Resilience, passion, creativity and hard work have shaped Christina's life through the challenges and victories, and it's with joy that she embraces the opportunity to be an inspiration to mothers, children and dog-lovers alike through her heart-warming, true story adventures with her beloved wolf-dog, Timber.
