OverviewIn a world where everything is either pink or blue, one student discovers the power of embracing their own unique colour and learns that being true to yourself is the most vibrant choice of all. Purple feels different from everyone around them. All their classmates embrace either pink or blue, but neither colour fits Purple. All Purple wants is to fit in, but they can't figure out how to. Everything in their world is either one colour or the other. They try to force themself to fit in with the rigid pink or blue moulds, but they always feel wrong. When a spill of pink and blue paints reveals a whole new colour, Purple cannot deny the connection they feel to the beautiful shade that is neither pink nor blue, but something totally unique. As Purple begins to embrace this new colour, feeling free and strong, they discover that they were not the only one who felt neither pink nor blue, and inspire their classmates to celebrate their differences. The Tale of the Purple Pupil is a heartfelt story about embracing your true self, inspiring children and adults alike to celebrate their uniqueness and find belonging in a world of endless colours.
