Overview

Numbers ZerO to 9 have been living in a dark pit. The have never been able to escape this condition, but then they had learned to live with the situation. Over time, however, a change enters the lives of these numbers, and Number 9, being the biggest becomes a merciless bully. All numbers adjust to living with this bully. However, unchecked, Number 9 becomes totally irrational in its demands. Finally, one of the numbers decides to stand up to the bully. Things happen.

Emigrating from Latvia, Silvija D. Lechowick was raised and educated in America. A graduate of Case Western Reserve University, and a former psychiatric social worker, she now resides in Northeast Ohio with her numerous family members (7 of which are feral cats.) Silvija enjoys writing fables that present today's lifestyles and problems, along with some thoughts on these issues. It is hoped that along with mice, groundhogs, rabbits, squirrels, and many others who share out planet, some answers could be considered.
