His publications include a United States history textbook and two supplementary college readers on the Kennedy administration. Dr. Bagnall wrote a television documentary entitled John F. Kennedy's Lost Pathway to Peace that aired nationally on TBS, and regionally on KCET, Los Angeles, on May 29, 1987, the 70th anniversary of JFK's birth. On the 75th anniversary of JFK's birth he published President John Fitzgerald Kennedy's Grand and Global Alliance, first edition.
