Author Information

Samantha Jackson is a 26 year old poet from Prince George's County, Maryland, and her county's Youth Poet Laurette of 2017. She has been writing since she can remember. She credits her sanity and sense of self to many composition notebooks from her adolescent years, along with a deep love for thrift stores, design and architecture, cooking, and a more recent infatuation with traveling the world. She looks forward to celebrating more growth and building community with other warm-spirted people.
