Overview

The Sunflower Sisters is written to encourage deeper trust in Jesus and His plan, even when we do not fully understand it. The story follows two sisters who live in a meadow and are lovingly cared for each day by the Farmer's Son. The older sister requires additional help to grow properly, which leads her to question why she is made differently and how that difference can be a good thing. Her journey gently touches on the tender theme of disabilities and the beauty of God reflected within them. When life's storms come, when the pruning shears are used, and when questions remain unanswered, Jesus is still steady, still good, and abundantly faithful-as the sisters learn throughout this story.
