Reviews

THE SUNDANCE READER is a well organized text that discusses the writing process and then presents short stories that illustrate each rhetorical mode. However, for instructors who don't teach the rhetorical modes, the text can also be taught from a thematic approach. II chose the text for its clarity of organization around the modes of discourse. The essays have a good mix of contemporary and recent classic authors.
