This book offers an in-depth analysis of the Brazilian sugarcane complex with a special focus on technological advances that promote sustainable development. After finishing his Diploma in Business Administration, Felix Kaup worked more than four years for several associations and as an international project manager within bioenergy projects in Latin America and South Africa. During his employment with the Potsdam Institute for Climate Impact Research he worked as a researcher on biofuels and wrote his doctoral thesis.
