After leaving military service in 1971, Jake along with his wife Becky, choose to remain in Europe for the next 15 years. Returning to the United States Jake spent the next 12 years doing Community Service Chaplaincy with various law enforcement agencies to include the Federal Bureau of Investigation. Additionally, Jake pursued prison chaplaincy during his law enforcement time. Today, Jake resides in Cuenca Ecuador with his wife Becky.
