OverviewInformation technology has been applied in teaching field for many years. From computer-aided instruction in the past to the application of MOOCs and Flipped Learning, the development of science and technology indeed brings many benefits for teaching. Because the volume of information tool gets smaller and smaller, and its function gets stronger and stronger, the setting and utilization of science and technology will become ubiquitous. However, advanced technology does not mean good teaching effect. The quality of teaching still relies on the control of teaching process by teacher. In recent years, many researchers made practical researches related to information education. The whole development of introducing information technology into teaching does not tend to a single pattern. Since 2003, he has been with the computer science and information education, where he is currently an Assistant Professor and the Director of Faculty Development Center of Tainan National University of the Arts. Dr. Chan won the 10th Taiwan Academic Network (TANet) Award of MERIT granted by the Ministry of Education, Republic of China (Taiwan) in 2005. His current research interests are cognitive science, neural network, software engineering, multimedia information processing, information and communication technology, brain-computer interface, and computer-assisted instruction.
