Nancy was still teaching at Mukwonago High School when Stanley was born. She continues to work on the farm staff at Old World Wisconsin where Jean Valjean, the main character in her first book, The Story of Jean Valjean, was born. Nancy lives in Dousman, Wisconsin, with her outdoor animals; and two rabbits and three Chihuahuas in the house. Philip is a native of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and is a graduate of Marquette University.
