?For those with an interest and the will to strengthen relations between the state and academic libraries, Gregory has produced an informative summary and four case studies that bring together for the first time the limited knowledge available. The book will be used to good effect by academic library administrators, state library personnel, and coordinating board personnel to improve the support and effectiveness of academic libraries. The examples and research presented in this book provide an excellent starting point for strengthening relationships between academic libraries and the state.?-Library Quarterly ""For those with an interest and the will to strengthen relations between the state and academic libraries, Gregory has produced an informative summary and four case studies that bring together for the first time the limited knowledge available.
