This book is Dyslexic inclusive; it is printed in a font that everyone can read, including people with dyslexia. One boy. One sandwich. One hungry flock of seagulls. Armed with his beastly beach balls and bucket blockade, Alec strives to safeguard his sandwich. In this battle of wits, one clever counterattack stands between Alec and a fun-filled day at the beach. THE STALKING SEAGULLS will engage the reader in this playful power struggle between boy and bird with an outcome neither one anticipates. Author Information

Michelle always dreamed about being a children's book writer and even has it in her Bucket List. Creative writing was always a passion of hers and she often wrote stories to evoke emotions, especially about her grandfather. Michelle is Boston born but grew up in Erie, PA. After receiving her Bachelor degree from Miami University of Ohio (1999), she returned to Boston for her Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Northeastern University (2001). Even though she still dabbles in Speech Pathology, her main focus is on her family and writing. Currently, she lives in the beautiful rolling hills of North Pittsburgh with her Finnish husband, two beautiful boys and two Golden Retrievers, who are her true inspiration for writing. When she is not writing, or thinking about writing she can be found being chauffeur to her two little boys or dancing Zumba. Michelle believes that with hard work and perseverance anything is possible and is thankful for her parents who instilled these qualities into her life! Michelle is an active member of the Western Pennsylvania Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators (SCBWI) and enjoys collaborating with fellow writers as much as her time permits. T.L. Derby is a children's book author and Illustrator. She has turned her love for writing and art into her career. Now she helps others to make their dreams come true as a publisher. She is educated with a BFA in Creative Writing for Entertainment and an MFA in Creative Writing. She is also an autodidact in illustrating, screenwriting, and painting for over 20 years. Her love for children makes what she does a gift from her to the world. I am a children's book author and Illustrator. I have found my love for writing and art is my joy in life so I made it my career. Now I help others to make their dreams come true. I am not only educated with a BFA in Creative Writing for Entertainment and an MFA in Creative Writing. I am also an autodidact in illustrating, screenwriting, and painting for over 20 years. My love for art and writing began in my childhood with drawing and painting pictures with my mother and writing small stories. As a child's book author and Illustrator, I am able to incorporate my artistic ability and my writing skills together to create a lifelong career of magic.
