The Sponsor Manuals apply established educational techniques to developing an understanding of the 12 Steps of Alcoholics Anonymous. This process leads to a structure that progressively improves a persons knowledge and understanding of each of the steps examined. Using Bloom's Taxonomy as a powerful teaching tool to develop learning objectives we engage the following process of learning. Before you understand a concept you must remember it. To apply a concept you must understand it. To evaluate a process you must have analysed it and to create new ideas and sponsor people you must have in-depth knowledge of the whole program and how it works. This guide can be worked through alone, in a group or with a sponsee and sponsor. This is not a stand alone guide. For it to be successful you must have access to the Big Book of Alcoholics Anonymous and the 12 Steps and 12 Traditions.
