"""... This was an exhilarating read that kept me hanging on until the end, and then I wanted more and more. The story was interesting and appealed to that part of me that enjoys collecting-type RPG games, while the images were beautifully drawn, causing me to pore over them for lengthy amounts of time. The spiritual aspects were also nice but without being too heavy-handed, and I don't think they'll turn off nonbelievers. The characters were also written well, and I especially liked the cook, Ms. Hen (who was indeed a chicken), and the questionable Jardin brothers, while my favorite character to admire was the beautifully-drawn feline estate steward, Mensonge Voleur. Most impressive was the book's superb editing; that's a rarity here! Overall, I thought this book was Grade A and a perfect 10, and I look forward to reading the rest in the series as they're released."" -Trina High (Online Book Club)"
