OverviewThis short book speaks very clearly to the differences between an all present primal source - or God - who is available and within every living creature and the teachings, or directives, of current religions and their practices, focusing mainly on the Roman Catholic Church, but also briefly examining other Christian churches as well as Judaism and Islam. While the book decries the limitations imposed by these organized religions, it also implies people's need for such practices at various points in human history and, while it advocates the withering away of these limiting shackles, it does not propose any specific measures to do so; the book is an exercise in personal and intellectual awareness rather than a roadmap for action.
