Overview

The Speedy Little Taxi is a fun and adventurous story about a bright yellow taxi that loves to race through the city. It ignores red lights, traffic signs, and even policemen, determined to be first wherever it goes. The taxi's owner tries painting it different colors-green and blue-to calm it down, but the taxi continues to zoom ahead, even racing with fire trucks to reach fires first. After much trouble with the police and fire department, the Fire Chief buys the speedy little taxi, paints it red, and now it helps him be the first to reach every fire.
