Barney Warf is Professor of Geography at the Unioversity of Kansas. His research and teaching interests lie within the broad domain of human geography, particularly economic and political issues. Santa Arias is Associate Professor of Spanish at the University of Kansas. She specializes in the literatures of colonial Latin America and interdisciplinary approaches to the study of literature and culture.
