Included in this volume are three stories that take place in post-World-War Japan, exploring the reality of adjusting to life-changing circumstances. The period immediately after the end of World War 2 is unique for Japan in that Japan had never been successfully invaded and taken over in its entire history. In this collection you will find the kind of human experiences that often happen to a war-conquered people. Author Information

Jon M. Fox is a writer of experimental fiction, non-fiction and poetry. His short story writing has appeared in such diverse publications as An Indigenous Message on Water, Dialogo, Night to Dawn Magazine, and Poets But Us: Wordsmiths' Journal And Magazine. He is the author of several novels and story collections. Born in the United States, Jon makes his home in Nueva Ecija Province in the Philippines. His fictional writing and poetry frequently focuses on the use of magical realism, largely stemming from his Yaqui Native American indigenous heritage and life experiences. When he isn't reading or writing, he's busy with various projects in the Philippines, and sharing his time with his wife and family.
