Mercedes is a Perth based stripper - turned soul searcher, gypsy wanderer, humanitarian and seeker of the truth. Her life has led her on many a crazy adventure - from inner city club scenes, the glamour of life as a model in Dubai, the bustle of Ugandan roadsides and the adoption of her daughter. Mercedes has not always walked an easy path, with so many self-imposed and societal judgments to battle about being a ""stripper"". Along her inner growth path she has now reached an empowered space of authenticity. From the depths of shame, fear and judgment to truly owning her narrative. There are so many misconceptions about the industry many of these cemented by Hollywood stereotyping. Mercedes is sharing her life story to help shift the stigma around this stereotype.
