Author Information

Tim Delaney has taught graduate and undergraduate sport sociology courses in sociology and physical education departments. He has published numerous books, articles and book reviews and has twice served as president of the New York State Sociological Association. Tim Madigan is assistant professor of philosophy at St. John Fisher College and specializes in applied ethics. He is on the editorial board of Philosophy Now magazine, where he writes the column ""Food for Thought."" He was executive editor of Free Inquiry magazine from 1986 to 1998 and editorial director of the University of Rochester Press from 1999 to 2004.
