Recently we successfully sent the Vikram and Pragyan to the Moon surface. But still we are very much narrow minded because we divide our child into girl and boy. By use of advance technology sex selection abortion happening day and night though it is strictly prohibited by different laws. This cases imbalance in gender equality and sustainable development of a country. Female foeticide in India is a biggest challenge in against law and women empowerment. Divorce, Rape, prostitution, murder and now female foeticide are a new experiences. It is very amazing that in the same country where every soul was regarded as an inseparable fragment of the 'Pramatma'. Due to the illegal act of people involved in killing of girls, the day is not far when there would be no girl child around us. So, at present, it is essential to know the level of awareness and perception of people.
