Commercial art is usually considered on another level than art for the sake of art, but the art of the cigar box held true in the minds of antique collectors. The Smokin' Book of Cigar Box Art & Designs chronicles the history of what took these cigar boxes into something more than a place to stash cigars. Collecting the 100 best labels from the John & Carolyn Grossman Collection, and reproducing them in full color, and divided by subject. The Smokin' Book of Cigar Box Art & Designs is a must for those who enjoy the style of these late nineteenth and early twentieth century treasures.
