Dr. Ryan grew up in Anchorage, Alaska, as one of seven children in a home that valued health, learning, and service. From a young age, he felt a strong desire to help others, which led him to pursue a career as a family medicine physician. Now a father of four energetic boys with whom he has read bedtime stories for years, Dr. Ryan combines his love for teaching and medicine to inspire the next generation.
