J. Paul Boehmer is an American actor best known for his numerous appearances in the Star Trek universe. Between narrations, he is active in regional theaters across the country. His television appearances include guest spots on Nip/Tuck and Numb3rs. Shawn Compton is a professional voice actor and audiobook narrator. He is also a seventeen-year veteran of the Air Force, and has a strong creative background from which to draw inspiration for his narration. Max Byrd is the author of bestselling historical novels about Ulysses Grant, Thomas Jefferson, and Andrew Jackson. He won the Shamus Award for his mystery novel California Thriller. His other widely reviewed novels include Shooting the Sun and The Paris Deadline. Byrd's earlier novels, the Wall Street Journal says, vaulted him into the first rank of American historical novelists.
