Overview

Mr. Siriano's goal is to show by example how anyone can rise from extreme poverty to become a success in America. It is a warm, heartfelt, and sometimes bitter-sweet tale filled with near-impossible trials and tribulations to be overcome. It is a nostalgic tale that almost all readers can relate to, and compare with their own lives in one way or another. Mr. Siriano presents the prose set during real-life events of the time in his witty and self-deprecating way, and the reader can relate to these events easily with their own lives.
