Overview

Alex now struggles to save Kate from the pitfalls of whatever drug she now is using and from the erratic tainted small town itself. Also her son Billy, a young teen, is being pursued by the Posse, a teen gang who are trying to recruit him Alex now learns more about the gang and its deadly leader. Not only have they bamboozled the town council and the county, but the DEA confirms their county is the worst in the county. Alex now learns his brother is also having problems with drugs. A suspense thriller, theme oriented, the story revolves around not only meth made by anyone, anywhere from anything, but also opioids, cocaine and heroin are becoming an even worse problem for the small community in a rural area of Washington. Although this could easily be a true tale, this is a work of fiction, more like The Grapes of Wrath than Traffic This is Book Two, The Goon Platoon. Book One, The Town Darling, Book Three A Doubtful End and Book Four Beyond the Horizon are a must read as they continue the story with many twists and turns. .
