Henry Michael Africa is a Qualified Construction Project Manager and a Property Developer. Top Baseball Player in South Africa in 1984 and best in the Western Cape in 1985, a year later. Then life stepped in and started teaching me about diseases. First my father died of a heart attack after suffering 7 strokes. Original diagnosis was Diabetes. Then my close friend suffered the loss of his mother.. She died in my arms from a heart attack. Original diagnosis Cancer [In remission]. My friend and mentor died of a massive heart attack in 2001.... My brother-in-law followed in 2002 shortly after my mother. My mother suffered with Parkinson's for 10 years before a heart attack ended her life. My close friend Ivor was followed by my baseball provincial catcher team mate Andre and then recently another softball player Gail followed a legendary softball player Noreen who followed another baseball friend's wife, Gail. Desire had been the first one to go many years earlier... Cancer was causing a trail of destruction in my friendship circle. I decided to do something about the education needed to combat this killer and 5 others. The Big 6 was born. Promoting R&D into killers diseases is now my passion... Along with writing about that and other issues regarding education in general... But cancer can be cured... Get tested and find out if you have it. There is nada to be scared of...
