OverviewSikhs have been part of the Manchester community since the 1950s, integrating into the diverse religious and cultural fabric of the city. They have grown into a significant faith community, with five Sikh temples. However, despite their contributions, their achievements and history remain largely undocumented. This concise account captures my firsthand experience of the past seventy years. While it serves as an informative record, its primary goal is to chronicle the events and facts surrounding their journey. I hope this account will prove valuable to readers and the descendants of their ancestors.
