The book succeeds in providing a compact introduction to both environmental problems and policies and fulfils a real need for undergraduate students who come to modules on environmental politics and policymaking from a variety of academic backgrounds. Dr Michael Cahill, University of Brighton Few books constitute both an introductory text and something that makes a genuine contribution to debate and research. Thankfully, The Short Guide to Environmental Policy is one of the rare exceptions. Tony Fitzpatrick, University of Nottingham
