A Madman, The Overseer, wishes to control the power of a Star in a secret underground laboratory at Houtouwan, an abandoned fishing village in Zhejiang province, China. His team of thirteen scientists are working day and night to fulfil his wish but one of them, a brilliant theoretical physicist Dr Rhea Richards, tries to betray him leading to her untimely death. And thus, a position is opened in the team for a theoretical physicist. The Overseer tries to procure Shailaja Sharma. A scientist working at The Walter Burke Institute for Theoretical Physics at the California Institute of Technology, with roots in Rudraprayag, Uttarakhand. Unknown to the evil plans of The Overseer, Shailaja lands in India for a scientific conference and to deliver a lecture at BHU. Meanwhile, lifetimes ago Parvati was born to Himavat and Menavati. In her the universe was seeking balance. In her it looked for hope. The only hope that could bring Mahadev back. Menavati is skeptical towards her daughter's destiny but the divine forces that are meant to be together cannot be kept apart for long. Shailaja's fate takes her to Mahesh, an ATS operative after she finds that her college friend Madan had been murdered in a hotel in Banaras. Mahesh, who has a mysterious past and is a child of a lost story, surprisingly gets pulled towards Shailaja. Mahesh and Shailaja together fight against the dark forces that could end the world. They fight against Overseer bent on unleashing the power of a Black Hole. A team of ATS and RAW agents is dispatched to Houtouwan only to find that a reality devouring experiment is underway. An attempt to seek Godhood. In their adventure Mahesh and Shailaja realize that their ultimate destination is Kailash and that they are more than just humans, they are the Legends of Hindu Mythology. And Shailaja is the axis of it all.
