Author Information

Educated at Oxford University and Queens University, Belfast, Gareth Russell is a historian, novelist, and playwright. He is the author of The Ship of Dreams, Young and Damned and Fair, The Emperor, and An Illustrated Introduction to the Tudors. He lives in Belfast, Northern Ireland. Jenny Funnell is best known for her role as Sandy in the British sitcom As Time Goes By. Her other television credits include appearances in Coming of Age, The Bill, Agatha Christie's Peril at End House, and Casualty. She's also been seen in Drop the Dead Donkey, Boon, Bergerac, and Brookside. She has had leading roles in hundreds of radio plays and series and is the winner of a Carleton Hobbs BBC Radio Drama Award. Jenny narrated Agatha Christie's The Seven Dials Mystery, published by Macmillan Audio.
