The Shadows of Memphis

Overview

In the year 1356 BCE, the city of Memphis, Egypt is flourishing with culture and power. During this time of Pharaoh Amenhotep III's reign, the death of a priest from The Great Temple of Ptah, occurs. The priest's body was found near the banks of the Nile River with an idol of Sobek, the crocodile god left beside him. Khnumhotep, one of the respected priests in the temple decides to investigate the crime and find the killer, taking on the personal task assigned to him by the head priest, Amunnefer. With the help from his brother, Anpuhotep, a preist in training, Khnumhotep's investigation leads him across the city full of secrets and lurking shadows over the Egyptian sands as he tries to stop the killer from claiming more victims...or before the Pharaoh, himself becomes endangered.
