Katie Hines Porterfield is a writer based in Nashville, Tennessee, Katie Hines Porterfield has a Bachelor of Arts in American Studies from the University of the South and a Master's in Journalism from the University of Alabama. Katie is also the author of Sewanee A to Z, a children's book about another place close to her heart, the University of the South. She and her husband Forrest, who were married at Church in the Pines, load their twin boys, Hines and Shep, in the car and head to Lake Martin every chance they get.
