OverviewThis book is a Memoir of a young girl's life encounters that expand to adulthood throughout seven decades culminating with illustrations of struggles, challenges, and commitments. Inspired by events growing up in the segregated South throughout a career encompassing school integration and livelihood with diverse cultures being motivated by religious belief system. I am who I am, the individual God created me to be. I am considered by some as being a ""baby boomer"". I am the product of the segregated South who grew up fearing the surroundings that I was born into. I became an educator and rose through the ranks from classroom reading teacher to an elementary school principal of sixteen years retired with a total of 38 years. I nibbled with being an adjunct professor at a Christian college and after retiring became an educational consultant with a notable institution of professionals. Surpassing all else, I take pleasure to share and relate experiences of how God intervened during life encounters in decision-making and courage to take each step to higher steps. I relate the Me, that God created through words and poetry in this Memoir.
