She holds a Joint Honours degree in English and Fine Art from the University of Nottingham, as well as a Doctorate in Education from the University of Queensland. Now an adjunct academic, Susan has turned her attention to fiction writing, a craft she has quietly pursued through journals, poetry and short stories over the years.
