Four is an interesting number: four years, in college, four years, in high school - and for me, four years, in the Army. Here is a new edition, of my, first book - four years, after, it, first, came out. Not, to sound, too ""Hoa, Hoa,"" but it, still, boggles the mind, how the world, and I, got, through the awful time, that was, Covid - and everything, after. We saw the end - and we should never go, back, there, again. --- What does it take to live through a certain time? This book explores that question, through the lens of the mundane, romantic issues, and also through spirituality, science, and mysticism. Written during the late part of 2020, and throughout 2021, these poems examine the attempt to find meaning, in a period of living in extremis, for a large part of society.
