OverviewThe secret abodes of the Lion remind us of Psalm 23 when it says I lift my eyes to you whose throne is in heaven. We know this reminds us of Sephiroth, climbing the ladder of the tree of life to reach the top, the crown or Kether. Each step we conquer is a quiplot that must be conquered, a snake skin or bark that we must overcome, but our soul like a lion fights in the solitude of the desert of ourselves defeating the serpent that trapped us in Eden. Eden is not just the story of creation, it is the story of everyday life, of the everyday struggle, the struggle to overcome the power of the tree of science of good and evil that in Kabbalah is Daath, our right to choose. Every day we fight against this power that comes from Daath, Daath is not a negative Sephira, it is just free will, our power to choose between light and dark. Every time we sin we are choosing darkness and then we are trapped in the serpent's skins, but each time we win by choosing light we roar like a lion climbing the steps of Sephiroth to the throne, to the Divine Father. However, it seems that the Father is not Father, he is stepfather, as he delivers us day by day into the hands of the opposite power, of Ha Satan who also fights against us as a lion and prevents us from climbing the ladder. Each step of the Sephiroth becomes a fight between two lions, the one of light and the one of chaos, and it is what we feed that will meet the challenge. Winning our own self is the true battle of life and whoever wins this battle will find the Divine Father, the supreme crown of the universe. I also called the father stepfather, because the daily pain is a lot, but we have to beat the most terrible lion, time is the time that dominates and devours us and that victory that we are waiting for is not enough. Time devours us like a hungry Lion and restricts our lives to pain, but there is hope in the lion of the tribe of Judah.
